Bahcesehir University Technology Development Center (BUTECH) was formed in August 2005 working closely with Bahcesehir University’s Engineering Faculty and dB-KES Ltd. on various projects in defense sector monitoring / detection, environmental and industrial acoustic vibration, also in biomedical and electronic ink systems. Besides researches in new technologies, BUTECH proposes acoustic, vibration and e-ink field professionals, certificates. Our team offers by means of those programs, an education concentrating on problem solving leaders in the technological field.
BUTECH is also dedicated in creating many opportunities for Bahcesehir University's Engineering students the opportunity to work on the mentioned fields before their graduation. Education through hands-on training for students is another aspect that our group provides in our laboratories.
BUTECH works in association with Ugur Information Technologies and Consulting Services Co. (UBIT) that is attached to Ugur Educational Foundations. This collaboration has the purpose of organizing projects, sells and business expansion. In addition, Teknopark is an organization having a wide area that aims to help in the boundaries of our country in various subjects like foundation, international representation to firms.
BUTECH’s main mission is to realize custom projects created for various industries and government in Turkey and in the Middle East region of the world as we employ our students so that they would have sufficient work experience. Selected successfull students will also be awarded with scholarships.
In July 2005, Bahcesehir University and Stevens Institute of Technology agreed on an academic collaboration and this agreement was signed between our Board of Trustees President Mr. Enver Yucel and the President of SIT Hal Ravache.
